adot manages this family-owned vineyard that is situated at the heart of the range of premier crus of Puligny. The wine treads a fine line between elegance and richness, restraint and power. Spice from the wood aging lifts the green and citrus fruits, giving a deliciously balanced wine.
Though tightly wound, this elegant white shows harmony between the lemon pie, pastry, toast and baking spice notes. Turns toastier on the long finish, but has both intensity and length.
Light, bright yellow. Ripe white peach and lemon aromas are complicated by nuances of stone, menthol and white flowers. Nicely ripe and intense if not especially nuanced, offering lively flavors of white peach, lemon and flowers. Supple but firmly built, with a hint of malic acidity giving shape to the finish. Most of this juice normally goes into the village bottling, but the team especially liked the quality of the Garenne in 2015.
