It is a Nero d'Avola vinified with purée grapes, which have been harvested from tree-grown vines grown in the Noto area. The Sicilia Rosso DOC "Zisola", from the Mazzei winery, is produced by carrying out a maceration on the skins for about two weeks. Later it was left to mature for about ten months in small French oak barrels, 33% new. Harmonic and balanced, but powerful and with character at the same time, it contains all the essence of the corner of Sicily from which it comes.
Eye of a beautiful ruby red. Offers hints of forest fruits and aromas of ripe citrus fruit. During the tasting phase, it is revealed to be of body and structured, complex and stratified, characterized by a good persistence and an excellent closure.
Versatile and eclectic, it meets numerous gastronomic combinations. Try it with spicy fish soup.
