Dark red in color, this wine offers aromas of forest fruits (wild berries), with a touch of vanilla and floral notes. It is well-balanced on the palate with good structure and tasty tannins.
Black cherry, currant and floral notes are expressive and alluring, balanced by loamy earth, tobacco and mineral elements that add a savory quality. Firm, well-integrated tannins give support to the polished texture, while orange peel acidity fuels the fresh finish.
A coupage made from 85% Tempranillo, 15% Graciano and Garnacha Tinta, this wine is the product of one of the decade’s best harvests, sourced from old vines with low yields that give greater concentration.
A fine dark colour, the wine releases complex aromas on the nose from well-handled ageing, powerful black fruit notes and toasty undertones mingling with hints of very fine oak. There is liveliness on the palate, with plenty of volume and concentrated flavours. This is a classy, elegant wine showing good structure and a meaty texture, with great cellaring potential.
Aged for 22 months in French oak barrels and subsequently for a minimum of 24 months in bottle.
