The 2017 Chablis 1er Cru Vaillons is the ripest and most exuberant wine in the range—indeed, it attained in excess of 13% alcohol—exhibiting notes of confit lemon, mandarin oil, white flowers and oatmeal. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, with the most fruit and texture of any wine in the cellar and a long, nicely defined finish. All that's in keeping with the sunny personality of Vaillons.
This delicious white offers refreshment, with wholly original flavors. Lemon zest, star fruit, wet stone, and white flowers all coat the palate in a bonedry, vitalizing, and immensely enjoyable wine.
