A rich ruby red, fruity and elegant, well balanced and medium to full bodied. The Ormanni estate is located in Tuscany, between Poggibonsi and Casstellina in Chianti. Founded by the Ormanni family in 13th century, it has been owned by the Brini family since 1818. This Chianti Classico has been aged for 12 months in oak barrels and casks.
Our Chianti Classico vineyards located in the municipal district of Barberino Val d’Elsa produce Sangiovese grapes for this traditional Chianti Classico. Traces of Canaiolo, a local species of vine in the Black Rooster territory can also be found in this wine in addition to Sangiovese.
Red ruby colour, intense fragrance and gentle and balanced taste, Chianti Classico Ormanni conjugates pride, elegance, fruitiness and a great drinkability.
It accompanies cured meats, pasta with gravy, stewed and grilled meat and Tuscan cheese.
