Ruby red colour with faint, deep tints. Complex on the nose, with this grape's extremely attractive personality. It opens out into a combination of aromas, with ripe fruit and vanilla eventually taking centre stage. Soft on the palate with a good balance between acidity and tannins.
Aged for twelve months in French oak barrels holding 500 to 3,500 litres, inside which malolactic fermentation takes place.
Robust entrées (tagliatelle with hare sauce), meat dishes and well-aged cheeses.
