Temperature controlled fermentation at 24/28°C. When is reached the desired sweetness, the fermentation is interrupted with the addition of brandy (77%). Aging in oak barrels for a minimum period of seven years in the warehouses in Vila Nova de Gaia. Colheitas are vintage ports, which mature in contrast to vintage ports in the barrel and may be bottled only after the seventh year.
Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão, Tinta Barroca
Blondish color. Young aromas, fruity and fresh that evolve. Due to oxidation, giving rise to a bouquet that brings out the aromas of dried fruits, aromas of roasting, wood and spices. Soft, harmony and complexity in the end.
Store and Serve Advices:
Serve cool at 9-14°C. Decantation is not necessary because this filtered port has no sediment. It is ready to drink as soon as it is bottled. It can be enjoyed for about 3 months, keeping the bottle in a cool place.
Particularly enjoyable with cheese, with a dessert or simply on its own whatever the occasion.
