The White of King Manfredi is born in the vineyards of the farm in the municipality of Venosa, on the slopes of the Vulture volcano, in Basilicata.
This wine is produced mainly with Muller Thurgau grapes and aromatic Traminer grapes, harvested by hand in the first decade of September. It is left to macerate on the skins for about a day. The musts are then fermented at temperatures of 12-14 ° C. At the end of the fermentation process, it follows the aging on fine lees for about 2 months before being bottled.
The White of King Manfredi is characterized by a yellowish yellowish color, with golden uprightness. The nose first contains fruity fragrances, with hints of apple and ripe yellow fruit, accompanied by delicate notes of sage and jasmine. In the mouth it proposes a definite minerality, due to the soil, which blends with the slight sugary residue, creating intriguing and original flavors.
It is perfect with fish and crustacean dishes, ideal even with seasoned cheese with soft pastry. Try also with sushi and sashimi.
