Opening with a fragrant array of gooseberries, nettles and tropical fruits, this lighter style Sauvignon Blanc beams with minerality. The palate is textured with layers of lemon, lime, and grapefruit leading to a lengthy finish with fresh and balanced acidity.
This is an intriguingly pure expression of Sauvignon Blanc from Napa Valley and one of my favorite Sauv Blancs I've tasted in the past year. Focused citrus notes give way to refreshing minerality and acid on the finish. This wine is easy-drinking, but has such a pure and fresh nature that it is immensely satisfying. Fermented in stainless steel and neutral oak. 92pts from Wine Enthusiast. 771 cases produced.
