Meaning land of gratitude” in Latin, the nameof this wine reflects my appreciation for the land that is my home. Terra Gratia is made in those rare and special vintages when we enjoy both extremely high quality and a generous crop. The kosher offering from our estate is carefully selected, fermented, and aged in accordance with strict kosher supervision.
As with all of the wines we produce, the kosher selection was aged in French oak barrels for 22 months, then bottled without fining or filtration. The resulting wine exhibits an extraordinarily rich, layered, black fruit profile, with forward notes of confiture, blueberry pie, vanilla bean and wood shavings. The texture is broad, plush, and deep, with the ripe, forward fruit expanding across the palate. This wine is immensely pleasing and hedonistic, and will certainly bring happiness over many years to come.
