The 2015 Cimarron red blend is powerful and wild in itself. The volcanic soils and dry climate of Lake County are ideal for growing this blend of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre. We add a splash of Petite Sirah and Petite Verdot for a little extra Oomph! We ferment this at a warm 85°F to bring out the fruit characters of each varietal.
Plums, raspberries and spices fill your pallet. The aromas of berries, caramel and tobacco resonate long after your last sip.
