Draped in a beautiful and bright yellow, Biancu Gentile is a very expressive white, with scents of white flowers and honey shades, with a remarkable freshness in the palate, which turns out delicious and mineral, tense on the finish. A vintage that tastes like fun !
Yves Leccia is the descendant of a large family of winegrowers of the island, he was able to create his own estate thanks to part of his father's vines and another part in renting.
The grape varieties Vermentinu, Biancu Gentile, Muscat Petits Grains (for whites), Niellucciu & Grenache (for the reds) have found their happiness on these clay-limestone, schistous terroirs at the foot of the mountain range that extend the Cap Corse. The exhibition is South-West with a microclimate due to the maritime influence of the Gulf of Saint Florent.
In the vines, the yield is controlled by a short manual size (Cordon de Royat). The vine is worked with plowing and shoveling in order to make the roots plunge into the ground.
