Purple color with a slight rim variation. Earthy forest and blackberries and dark fruit. The forest journey is consistent on he palate.
The structure, body and complexity is enjoyable. The body delightful and intriguing, and the dryness is characteristically French. The finish is long and friendly.
This has a chalky earthy feel with red fruit and spice. The nose is subdued and the finish short. Nice wine but the Basel has it beat on all fronts.
