Chateau Gruaud Larose Saint-Julien 2012
This is a forward, expressive Gruaud Larose with round, supple texture. Lifted cassis, mixed currants and blackberry flavours. Well made, classic in style and expression with fairly long length. Tasted in: Bordeaux, France. Maturity: Young.
Blackcurrant, graphite, black olive and morello cherry. Subtle vegetal touch on the nose carrying through to the palate. Restrained tannins, roasted coffee and morello cherry. Seductive and elegant.
