Brilliant khaki orange color. Toasty, yeasty aromas of strawberry-banana yogurt, sourdough lemon muffin, hint of rubber sap, and toasted rice green tea with a supple, soft, dryish light-to-medium body and a sleek, stimulating, medium-length white strawberry, lemon spritzed melon rind, and wet grass and bamboo shoot finish with fine, crunchy, soft tannins and no oak. A nice dry, earthy rose.

Cloud Chaser Côtes de Provence Rosé is one of the newest Provencal rosés, offering delicate red berry and cherry fruit character, coupled with a lovely freshness.

In the glass, Cloud Chaser is a beautiful classic light pink Rosé colour. The wine has an intense nose of tropical fruits, including mango and banana. Round and smooth on the palate, this wine has a stunning dryness and a lovely, complex onset of peach and apricot. The finish is long and lingering, yet the wine remains refreshing and quaffable.

The wine's name is inspired partly by the famous Mistral winds of the French Mediterranean, which quite literally 'chase' the clouds from the brilliant blue skies of Provence. Amongst the best of the Côtes de Provence rosés, Cloud Chaser is the perfect summer wine, but its charm and complexity also make it a rosé for all seasons.

Bottled in a tall, elegant Provençal bottle, it's instantly evocative of the summer season on the French Riviera: warm weather, outdoor soirées and al fresco dining. Drink chilled on it's own or pair with fish, Asian, and Mediterranean cuisine including grilled or roasted meats and pasta.
