Ernesto Catena Cabernet Sauvignon Tahuan 2013

Tahuan Cabernet Sauvignon offers up good varietal definition and lovely fruit purity. The nose showcases dark currant and blackberry notes cut with a slight herbal nuance, a touch of licorice and a soft vanilla inflection aromatically. The palate is medium fuller to fuller bodied with a core of currant and black berry fruit backed by powdery tannins giving this a smooth and engaging texture. The finish is dry with nice length, which counters the wines juicy, supple mid palate. This has good balance, depth and accessibility.
