Jackson Estate Sauvignon Blanc Stich 2015 |
The aromatics show lively notes of zesty citrus and stone fruits with hints of lifted white blossom. In the mouth characters of rock melon and key lime predominate with a fine mineral concentration. Fresh acidity and a delicate less driven backbone combine to create a full palate with finesse and depth.
Strikingly pure aromas of fresh basil, lime and passion fruit are confirmed on a palate which possesses mouth watering sweet / sour balance with riper yellow fruit (passion fruit) and cooler berry fruit (white currant) finishing long and fine. Taking its name from Jackson Estate's owner and founder John "Stich" Stichbury, this is New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc at its very best.
Named for Jackson Estate founder John Stichbury. Superbly aromatic, the fresh stonefruit, melon and citrus flavours are enhanced by a textural mouthfeel and a lingering, mineral-edged finish.
