The wine comes from vines planted on a small island off the Provence coast. Its cool seaside climate has given a crisp red-currant flavored wine. Light and bright with lively acidity, the wine is textured with taut minerality. A lovely garnet robe. A bouquet of berry fruit leads on to riper fruit and notes of forest undergrowth.
On the palate, it is full and round with a finish of black fruit and spices. The tannins are silky and well-rounded.Rock fish, cuisine de Provence, vegetables grilled with olive oil or stuffed and roasted. Serve between 46.5° - 50°F.
