The hill of Cannubi is located in the heart of the denomination of Barolo, and has always enjoyed a unique and unique microclimate. From here come the nebbiolo grapes from which the Barolo Cannubi DOCG of the Marchesi di Barolo was obtained. It matures for two years in total, between barriques and large barrels. It is distinguished by the particular integrity of the fruit, which is accompanied by a sumptuous tertiary component, evolved during aging in wood. It is powerful and vigorous, but above all it promises to evolve wonderfully in the bottle, if it is well kept in the cellar.
Ruby red with abundant garnet reflections. Particularly intense on the nose, with flavors of ripe blackberry, black cherry and blueberries, which are followed by spices, leather, tobacco, coffee and licorice. Warm, structured and full-bodied in tasting, with a tannic texture that asks to rest again, but promises at the same time fabulous developments. The palate corresponds to the nose, resulting generous in persistence, elegant and austere in closing.
It is to be combined with tasty and structured dishes. Perfect to sip with braised pork in red wine.
