Pinnacle is a brand usually associated with flavoured vodkas. Its pure, unflavoured form is actually one of the cleanest vodkas one could drink. That is the main thing about vodka; it needs to taste as much like water as possible, and produced well, with that in mind, it pairs especially well with smoked and pickled fish. Indeed, I love to drink Pinnacle a hundred grams at a time, while munching on sprats or kippered herring. Sometime I hope to try it with some smoked mussels on toasted baguette. Perhaps.
