Morellino possesses the warmth and intensity so typical of wines produced near the sea. At the same time it entices with pleasing enjoyability, fully expressing its character as a highly versatile wine.
Intense ruby red colour. Red fruit bouquet with jammy plum and violet flower notes enriched by spiced, grilled notes. Medium-bodied and pleasing in the mouth.
Fermentation takes place in the Magliano winery in temperature controlled steel vats. Fermentation and maceration last 15-20 days, then the wine is aged for eight months in French oak barriques and barrels with a second passage in the Montepulciano cellars.
