Festive like Pink Champagne, San Giuseppe Sparkling Rosé is "Pink Champagne Italian style."
Interestingly, San Giuseppe Sparkling Rosé is "officially" a red wine, Bardolino, vinified Rosé. Removing the red grape skins from the Bardolino juice when it turns pink creates a new wine, Chiaretto.
Chiaretto di Bardolino is made still and sparkling. San Giuseppe makes both.
To make the sparkling, San Giuseppe takes still Chiaretto and adds a dose of fresh unfermented juice to induce a second fermentation. The second fermentation creates the natural bubbles.
San Giuseppe Sparkling Rosé is delightfully tasty, festive and fun like Pink Champagne, except you get two bottles of San Giuseppe Sparkling Rosé for the price of one Champagne.
Joy in a bottle!
