Tarima Blanco 2016 |
Produced by Macabeo, Merseguera and Moscatel Seco from 12 hectares of vineyards in DO Alicante, with 40-50 years old vines. The vineyards are located approx. 650 meters above sea level, and the soil is very calcareous. All grapes are harvested and the production is only approx. 4 tonnes per hectare. The wine has saved for a short time in stainless steel tanks, to preserve the aromatic and fresh fruit flavor.
The color is light golden with a greenish cut. Aromas of white fruits, citrus and a touch of exotic fruits, as well as a few notes of flowers and mineral hints. The taste is fresh, half-dry and with a welcoming, medium-bodied fruit flavor. Fine acid and a nice, light bitter aftertaste.
Serving the wine at 8-9 degrees, and for dishes with seafood, lighter fish, grilled vegetables, and various appetizers. Try it as a fresh and fruity aperitif.
