Zind-Humbrecht Pinot Gris Rotenberg Wintzenheim 2014

3/2015: pure limestone influenced nose. There is almost a citrus influence there after some aeration. There is definitely a sensation of austerity and a lean mineral character on the palate. However, the wine develops slowly and does show its potential and great structure. Please take enough time to understand this wine and there will be no regrets.
